Yes, by design, its a specific directory for a specific node. The name is arbitrary, ie: I could set up /path/to/acn and anything in that dir goes to you for example (although I generally name them /mailer/box/zz.ff.nn.pp, so I remember who the box is for :)

I just asked because I've set an Outbox directory for my point (/sbbs/fido/topoint) and now I'm finding message packet files there,
eg. 0000p001.FR0 today.
Do you also see this behaviour?

That probably sounds right.

For the system that I use a filebox config for, I dont receive mail (nor send mail) so sbbsecho doesnt export anything for that node.
