    Any one still play tradewars? I see there are some very serious players out there still. I haven't played in so many years that its almost like starting over. I do really like the game but from what I understand now its a fast places RTS. Thoughts?

    No long ago I was invited to a small Tradewars server. I liked the experience. Then the server bit t.

    Servers with an established playerbase are hard to join because everybody is so powerful. You may join, travel to a sector two jumps away from your starting position, and get obliterated by the automated defenses set by another player on somebody's planet.

    Many online games have this problem. YOu need to join when the game is starting of join with a mentor.

    Well since its my server I can rebang it anytime. If I knew a few people wanted to get on I would rebang it now :D!

    I do not - I never was into TW2002 THAT much; but I'm interested what server(s) are most active that you see?

    I always wanted to get deep into it, but never got past the random cruising around trading and looking for aliens to kill. I put up my Tradewars Game Server again recently and created some new games, and I'm kind of enjoying it. I'd also be curious to know where most people are playing -- That seems a lot more fun than playing alone on my TWGS.

    If your looking to check it out I would recommend you get on a server like mine where no one is really on yet and play Game B or C both are unlimited turns so you can just try out the game and learn how to play

    Are you running the TWGS server? there is a server announce feature that will tell other people about your server. Be ready though its much faster pasted that one might expect. Especially with all the scripts. Also people look for a specific game many times. This site has rebangs that can be used. to automate the process. Helps to have at least one of your games set to a known TWA.

    I will double check the settings. I double connect all the time. I could use help troubleshooting if its not working. Let me know if its still not working for you.
