  • FTN's Update ???

    Hello

    I've been trying in vain to get Musicalnet, DeveloperNet and Vkradio for months.
    No response from Tony Langdon. So I'll try it here. Are these networks still alive?
    And if there is still traffic there, who could I get these networks from via Bink?
    Then I also wanted to get the DoRenet (also for half a year). But I can't get any
    further at the headquarters. Is this network still alive? What's about GameNet?
    Still connected, but no traffic since month's?

    Maybe you know more about these nets?

    All of them are dead and useless. Some may still be "connectable" but
    are in Abandoned-mode and running on autopilot, with zero traffic.

    No idea about the status of any networks. Tony's been quiet for some time, something else had become a higher priority for him. He's usually been
    pretty good answering email though, so I've shot off as missive.

    I don't know about the first two. Tony is inactive at the moment but his systems still seem to be running. I can't speak for how responsive or not he is right now but Id guess his interests lie elsewhere at present. He may well circle back to BBSing again but I know he does a lot of fire fighting stuff and also athletics etc.. He's a good guy :)

    If you don't get a response I would say the network is on auto pilot.

    I host MusicalNet and DeveloperNet via QWK. Tony Langdon was helping with the FTN side. If you'd like to get those via QWK, you can set up a QWK account with my BBS, Digital Distortion, at digdist.synchro.net .
