• Telnet stops responding

    From Lupine Furmen@21:4/102 to G00R00 on Tue Sep 7 21:03:23 2021
Hey G00R00, I'm having a problem with one of my boards. I'm running 4
different Mystic boards on my system, all the same version, but only one of them run fine after bootup, but that it's been running for a bit will just
stop accepting input on the telnet lines until I restart the mis server.

There is no new entries in the error log and I can't see any problems in the mis.log. The server settings are all the same on all 4 instances (with the exception of the port numbers). So I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas
    of things to check?

I know this is a stupid question but are you running them out of different directories?? I currently run 3 different instances of Mystic on 1 PC for my BBS, File Server, and a Login Server for my Website (idea stolen from Error 404) and have no issues with any of them not answering after a while or at
boot up. If it is all in the same directory, that could be the issue where
MIS is possibly having memory corruption issues? Maybe others will have a clearer answer...

They are all in different directories and all using different port numbers.
The other 3 work flawlessly, for some reason it is only Sound Source ]|[ that is having the issue.

Well, it may not be an issue much longer as I'm thinking about consolodating all of my public facing systems into a single board.
