I'm also wondering about the web server. I have it enabled currently but I jus >get an error 404, page not found error although I do have an index.html in the
webroot directory. Does anyone have that working?

The actual Mystic webroot here is /home/mystic/webroot/www/index.html

There should actually be a /www and a /cfg directory under /mystic with /www being the directory that Mystic serves your html files from. The /cfg directory as I understand it is for future use.

If you want a netmail base per net create them and add the AKA to use to the "Net Address" in the msg areas config.

If you leave the "Net Address" to the default (0:0/0) the netmail area will work for all you AKA's and nets.

Thanks for the help but my problem is different; I read messages from golded and the netmails I write there for some reason do not arrive even though they are sent. I'm afraid the problem is in the configuration of the golded area generated by mystic.

You can do it either way, whatever works best for you.

If you want a netmail area per AKA set your AKA for each area. You'll need a netmail base for each zone you are in.

I just use one netmail area.

There should be no export to nodes in your netmail base.

I'm not sure if Mystic can do this but GoldED can.

Mutil has an option to export the message areas to a format golded can import so that might work for you.

You're running the latest version, so there's no issue with one netmail area whatsoever. Since it's not letting me copy/paste, I can try to give you a short version of my netmail area's config:

Base Type: Netmail
Newsgroup: Netmail
QWK Name: NETMAIL
Echo Tag: NETMAIL
FIle Name: netmail
Path: /home/user/mystic/msgs
List ACS: s20(g2|g3|g4|g5|g6)
Read ACS: s20(g2|g3|g4|g5|g6)
Post ACS: s20(g2|g3|g4|g5|g6)
Sysop ACS: s255(g2|g3|g4|g5|g6)

Net Address: 0:0/0 (Local Address)
Export To: 3 node(s)

That should get you started. Take note on the last one above, you're exporting to every uplink's individual address for each network with AKA matching. And list, read, post, and sysop ACS should include every group that is an echomail network that includes a netmail area (g1 here is my Local areas, so not needed).

The key for me was to have the "group access" in the message area for netmail set to all of the groups that are going to have netmail (ie. s255(g2|g3|g4|g5|g6)"
