• Linux: Auto boot mis SERVER not DAEMON

I like the status screen that MIS SERVER provides.

However, since I want to auto-boot the BBS when the linux box boots, I am forced to use DAEMON.

I know it's not the "best" way, but I am doing this in rc.local with sudo -u to run everything as an unpriv user.

It's working; however, I'd really like to be able to run SERVER for the nice status display on the console...but I can't seem to figure that out without having to automatically log the unpriv user on and do it in their individual profile.

Aside from doing that, any other ideas?

    When I put

    sudo -u unprivuser /mystic/mis server

in my rc.local, the BBS does come up, but there is nothing on the console screen, and I don't get my login prompt on the console screen...
