    I've been having a lot of fun w/ a website I found; https://8bitworkshop.com/

    Write 8-bit code in your browser.
    Ever want to be an old-school programmer? Learn how classic game hardware worked. Write code and see it run instantly.

    The website offers up an IDE, a graphic converter and a couple other tools. The IDE gives sample code, and some instruction, for many retro systems;
    Atari 2600, NES, Bally Astrocade, Colecovision, Sega Master System, Atari 7800, C=64, MSX, Apple IIe, ZX Spectrum, x86 (DOS), Amstrad CPC and other systems - I've been coding some 2o fOr beeRS NES carts.

    I think many of us would enjoy the platform - its really nice to have so much info in one spot, I keep thinking of how much I would have killed for this website when I was 10 years old; lol.

    If you're into learning old hardware, this is really a gem... check it out.

    That is pretty cool. I dabbled in some 6502 assembler recently, and write a small "demo" for the Vic 20.
