I forgot to mention that using the standard tarball ("qodem-1.0.1") to
build, I was getting other odd errors. When I cloned the Qodem Github repo
and built from that source using the method I described in my last message,
I had no errors at all and had a very smooth installation.

I am very much a newbie at learning C. I am trying to teach myself C so I
can work on MBSE and "spot fix" things I find without having to rely on
Andrew or Mike (Dillon, another programmer in the project who is doing a lot
of the low level "heavy lifting" to modernize MBSE's source code).

    Later,
    Sean

    Newer code perhaps?
