Any news about Sean? I have heard he had health issues with his foot.
I hope everything is all right.

Rumors of my demise are untrue. :D
I am still alive. I'll post a longer message tomorrow.

I got more money than expected from Allstate (my company), and
am waiting on a settlement from Geico (the company of the driver
charged in the wreck). So, in needing to get basic transportation
back, I found a 2009 Volvo 2 door convertible at a good price
(most were way more than that, even pre-owned). All I want is
something to get me from point A to point B in the Little Rock
area.

Oh, mergatroyd!! Look what crawled out of the woodwork. <G>
It is a good thing you walked away with just some bruises.
We had a patient in our clinit that had spent years being fucked up by some condition of his. We managed to improve it to the point he could carry out a normal life and all. He was happy as heck.
One day after finishign treatment he came to the clinic to sign some papers, walked out and got involved in an accident. Now he is in a wheelchair.
Talk about bad luck.

Same here. I was involved in a multi-vehicle wreck a week ago.
Thats great man! I'm glad you'll be able to get a replacement car. It sucks not having transportation.

Lol, I have been watching some Hanna Barbera cartoons lately and have heard Snagglepuss saying that a lot. :)

More like "look what the cat dragged in" with the way I feel.
I'm glad you weren't hurt any worse. I'm also glad that you were able
to find a droptop for a new car. :D
I am still waiting on Social Security. I'm hoping that with the
backpay from that I will be able to find something decent around here
for a vehicle. I'll definitely be getting a used vehicle though if
it's going to be a 4-door sedan or a small 4WD pickup will be up to the luck of the draw.
I haven't been quite the same after my COVID-19 illness. I've been
having headaches and tinnitus. No one at the VA seems to know what to
do since they can't just toss pills at me due to my blood clot and
blood thinners.
So I am just waiting for now. I am trying to get the energy to do
things around the house. I did move my IC-718 into the motorhome and
have set up the Signalink USB you gifted me and a new CI-V control
cable (arrived yesterday). Digital modes are so far, so good. I'm
using my Windows laptop since my other laptop died but this one isn't doing much better, I'm afraid.
To quote Talking Heads, "same as it ever was".
At least it wasn't like what the dog did on the ground. <G>
As for Social Security, I was denied disability twice, then my late
wife Janice and I (who you got to meet years ago), hired a lawyer. We
went before an administrative law judge...then every day for 5 months,
we were praying (dare I say "pleading"??) before The Lord for a
favorable ruling. Seven months before she died, that's what I
got...and the first words out of my mouth, upon learning of such, were "Praise The Lord Of All Creation". Yet, they keep finding stuff wrong
with me.
As for the wreck, if you see someone grab their neck in a wreck,
they are faking it. Injuries from those don't show up until a few days later, as your adrenaline is in overdrive for at least 2 days after
the wreck. I am undergoing daily chiropractic care, and the doctor
will decide on Monday whether I can cut that back to 3 days a week.
I've had 2 BSOD errors with Windows 10, but thankfully, those have
been few and far between.
Same old, same old...you don't ever hear of "same new, same new".

No, that's what I look like.
I have a lawyer already just in case. They normally do not take new claims but the lawyer felt I had an "open and shut case" (her words).
So I might lose $6000 for nothing but better safe than sorry!
I didn't find out I had a concussion until eight months later and it
took years before my right hip started giving me problems. All after
the statue of limitations ran out, of course. Now with the problems
with walking caused by my Charcot foot, that right hip is always angry.
That CI-V cable worked right the first time with W10, thankfully. Now
to get that S9+ RFI knocked down.
Same old, same old...you don't ever hear of "same new, same new".
SS, DD ... and I ain't talkin' about single-sided, double-density
either.
My 82-year old mother had a flare-up of sciatica, exacerbated by a long plane trip. I had to take her to an urgent care facility, and while on
the freeway was rear-ended in a low-speed accident (it was stop-and-go traffic). We pulled over, and my mother and I got out of the car. She
was hunched over and in obvious pain, and I thought the woman who hit
us was going to have a heart attack when she saw her getting out of the car!
