The 901's intrigued me at one time too. But I found them too
big (wide) for a nice fit into a typical listening/living room
space. A tall (or narrow) design made more visual sense for me.
Regarding the Minumus-77's.. when I had some company over, they
could not tell where the sound from coming from! The speakers
I may be motivated to set up a Shiit-style (mini) sound system
around my tv now, and put those Minimus-7's into action. Or..
maybe I'll just settle with a suitable receiver in case I'd like
to listen to the radio.
I have a Onkyo receiver in my "HiFi" setup, but I don't
think I have ever used the "receiver" part of it. I have a
pair of Yamaha floor standing speakers and a Polk Audio
center channel speaker. I also have a Polk Audio 10" active
subwoofer + 2 Polk surround sound speakers, but they are
not currently hooked up, as I don't want to piss of my
wall/floor neighbors :P.

Too bad you can't experience that equipment to its fullest.
I studied the woofer market at one time. I really wanted to
experience the deep low frequencies. Along the way, I ended up
getting a receiver that did not accommodate a woofer connection
- my mistake. :(
Recently, I watched a few audiophile channels on YT
(Audiophiliac, and Recovering Audiophile) and have practically
come to the conclusion that the Heresy IV would be the right
speaker for me. But at $3K/pair, they are a bit out of reach.
