seen this funny little message on my screen from someone that may or may not frequent here anyways there was a missed response aparently you need to read the TOS. and email the sysop and get your IP out of the tables to reconnect.

Just know that uptime is not taken lightly at the server. I know maybe one or two can relate here when I was a much better sysop myself I remember riding half frantic across town between mom and dads house to see why the BBS was down.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by updating tables?

That used to happen here decades ago. Not with parents but going away on
a trip or vacation and sure enough there was a "problem". When I moved the BBS to a much better reliable and stable hardware and network setup, it was a night & day difference.

That used to happen here decades ago. Not with parents but going away on

Mines always run on the better hardware never the less just because it was better didn't mean it was up to date.

On Dovenet, MRO said that he blocks IP addresses of idle users he suspects
of trying to do something nefarious with IRC chat data.
