No but years ago there was someone who was a part of Micronet (who shall
remain nameless) that did go "full Hitler" by biblethumping everyone,
including me. I then called them on it and they left Micronet on their own
but was in Fidonet blaming me for what happened in Micronet.

I called them on it there and their flame burnt out quickly.

While I pride myself on Micronet being mainly self-moderating, there have
been rare times where I have had to step in. Do not feed the Iron Fist.

    Later,
    Sean

    Hello everybody!

Thank you for being civil in here. I greatly appreciate it.

I always try to tread lightly and do understand that everyone has different thought processes - and that is fine. I'm one of those people that doesn't feel everyone has to think the same way or be the same way. I enjoy the fact there are differences in this world. Hell, it would be boring if everyone thought the same way I do.

I was talking to a person that I have known via work for 20+ years on how I don't fit any type of mold. I'm a geek, but ride a Harley and love metal music. That sums up how I am - not part of any group 100%.

He said you are like an "Educated Redneck". I said yeah, I guess you could say that but most of my education is self taught.

I just like winning and helping others win. It is really that simple.

Forgot one very important thing.. Freedom. HUGE freedom advocate. Very simply that means everyone should be free to do as they wise - provided what they do doesn't negatively effect others.

Since we have had ample time for those that was the vaccine, the state has finally lifted the mask mandate. There are no longer any restrictions other than those imposed by the company, itself.

Just got back from the grocery store and I would say the mask to non-mask ratio was around 50/50. I have no issues with people's choice either way, but my situation I have no concern about it at all.

I had to do some errands today. My credit union and the local public library were refusing people entry if they didn't have a mask and the public
library had an on-duty uniformed city police officer enforcing the masks. Everywhere else it seems that no one cared.

I am sorry to burst your bubble, but most actual geeks and nerds in my area happen to be
metal-heads too. Me included. I think it comes with your geekiness starter kit.

Cool, good to know! I'm sure there are some around here too, just not easy to find.

Personally I like the fact that all people are different. If everyone was exactly the same it would be boring as hell.
